Q. What is the difference between a vacuum cup and a traditional suction cup?
Our vacuum cup uses an active suction by using a small pump to remove the air, creating a vacuum-tight suction. This method makes removal of the cup and bowl very difficult to pull off – which works great for our messy little eaters! Traditional suction cups simply push onto a smooth surface and require little effort to remove.
Q. What makes the vacuum cup better than a traditional suction cup?
Because the pump creates a vacuum, it is almost impossible to pull the vacuum cup from a smooth surface and it will not lose suction. A traditional suction cup loses suction more quickly and is easily removed with upward force.
Q. What surfaces does the vacuum cup stick to?
A. The vacuum cup will stick to any clean smooth surface.
Q. I’ve noticed that the red indicator line is showing but the vacuum cup is still strongly attached. Is there a problem with my vacuum cup?
A. No, the red line indicator line is only a guideline to help you know how long to pump to achieve full suction. Once full suction has occurred, the red line may slowly start to show without loss of suction.
Q. What are the sizes of the bowls?
A. The small bowl is 3.5 inches in diameter and 1 7/8 inches tall, the medium bowl is 4.25 inches in diameter and 1 7/8 inches tall, and the large bowl in 5 inches in diameter and 2 1/8 inches tall.
